BOAS

BOAS is a denim wholesale company. I started here as a Shopify developer writing Liquid templates and maintaining custom store features, including a private Shopify app for some operational needs the default admin couldn't handle.

Later, as part of the wider dev team, I worked on migrating the storefront off Shopify's theme layer: Next.js for the frontend, Strapi for content, and the Shopify Storefront API for product data and checkout. My part of that was the dynamic product pages, category listings, and a set of reusable UI components the rest of the team could build on.

The actual win wasn't just speed, though a headless setup on Next.js is faster by default. It was giving the marketing team direct control over page content through Strapi without needing a developer to ship every copy change, which matters more day to day than a benchmark number.
